Are there sword shops in Minneapolis, MN?

QUESTION: I would like to buy a sword that I can see and hold first. Are there any sword shops in the Minneapolis area?

Unfortunately, I am not too sure about the location of any bricks and mortar stores there. However I will leave this question open so that if any other visitors stumble upon it and know the answer, they can inform you accordingly.

The Vaase in the mall of america also sells swords and weapons as well as intricate japanese chinese asian in general articles of art, scrolls, figures and vases. Most notable is their bargain cupboard where prices are sometimes halfed

To add on to what you just said, if you're looking for anime swords and things based off movies or shows, there are a lot there as well. I'm going soon to get Ichigo Kurosaki's Tensa Zangetsu from Bleach. Check it out! It's an anime lover's dream shop of weapons! There's even a gunblade!

I know two Location for bleach swords.

The first location I know that has a Bleach Sword is at the Hmong Village.

Ren. Fest.

If you're willing to put up with the drive, and any preconceived notion of what to expect, the Ren Fest is where I've gotten a few in the past. My favorite is Angel Sword hands down. There's more than just that, too. Anything from $200~$10,000. If you can't wait, or just hate the Ren Fest, you should try Arms and Armor. Great customer service and amazing swords. If you're willing to shell out a bit more cash than normal, you could have something custom made by them. Can't praise them enough for their quality and commitment to realism.

I just visited Arms & Armour swords in Minneapolis.
They are on the corner of Stinson Blvd and Broadway in the middle of a long brick bldg. You can park on Stinson. Continental Clay is on the north end of the bldg.
These guys forge/make/finish their own swords and weapons from quality steel and their prices are very reasonable! Plus, there is no junk steel.
I spoke with Craig Johnson who has been in the steel blade business for 30 years. Very knowledgeable guy.
