sword of ibelin

QUESTION: I orderd the sword of ibelin from the movie KINGDOM OF HEAVEN and was wondering about the structural integrity of it, I know that their is a review on this site about it, but, he didnt cut anything with it.

ANSWER: Hi Chris,

Most Windlass swords are good structurally and good cutters. Only the single handed swords are generally good for thrusting however (too whippy on their hand and a half swords and over as a rule of thumb).

It's not going to fall apart if you cut with it. But it cannot perform exactly quite like it should...
