ANSWER: in this case. i answer your question. drizzt's sword twinkle is so named because in the books. it can be made to shine at will. in a similar way to gandalfs sword in lotr. and drizzt uses it to signal his friends once. they say they found him by a faint twinkle in the distance. so he calls it twinkle.

his other sword, if you're interested. is named for the dragon from whose cave he took it.
